THE SUBJECT OF THIS A FAILED GOVERNMENT

I present you with a question is the government of the United States inspired by God? I always heard from the time that I was a child that “The United States is a Christian nation” without a state-established Creed. I personally would not consider that a fair assessment, consider that at least seven of the American wars have been fought against professing Christian combatants. This includes the nation’s Civil War wherein the hundreds of thousands of those calling themselves Christians slaughter self-described Christians on the battlefield. I think the Jesus that I know of in the Bible would want something better from us (Luke 3:14)

Jesus pointed out that my kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world my servants will fight. (18:36) he is the Messiah who distances himself from governments and the wards of this world. Jesus Christ made no effort to reform humanity’s contrived governments during his earthly ministry. Regarding the plots counsel and alliances of government, the Psalmist says “he who sits in the heavens He’ll laugh the Lord shall hold them in derision. Then he should speak to them in His wrath and distress them in His deep displeasure” (Psalm 2:4-5)

We are all familiar with what DANIEL said according to the inspiration from God. God will set up a kingdom on this earth that will destroy every Kingdom State, Government, or whatever Authority that is present when he returns. DANIEL wrote of the time when the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms
(Daniel 2:44). In revelations 11:15, Jesus Christ revealed to John a future time when all the kingdoms of this world will have become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.

If you notice God has included every humanly devised form of government in these declarations? Man has not lived up to any of them. Not even American which has been on the slippery slope going down for years. Being one of the most beloved trustworthy societies and law-abiding nations of the world.
How do we bring ourselves down to such a low point, lie men will lie to you and feel that the lie does not carry with it consequence, plus I’m sorry is not in their vocabulary, I saw a major survey that states 75% of husbands and wives have extramarital affairs, rioting, stealing, shooting, etc. we are too far gone to ever think we will reach a utopia that will occur under our flawed, corrupt human governments. When we get past raw patriotic emotions, we’ll see that human government is failing regardless of which party is in power. To change all that I brainstorm about there is a happy ending if you put your trust in God. Forgive one another and give God your emotions when a stronghold is upon you and if you believe, God will see you through. And the peace you will have has never been told. ‘We walk by faith and not by sight”. God has not failed mankind we just don’t read the word of God.   God Bless
